In Partnership with QUAD and FilmCity, Derby
How do we understand urban spaces when they are in constant change around us?
Who is it that creates our sense of place and abandons old ones? What will our future cities look and feel like? The city is ours and we have the power and the tools to change it.
Trampoline is pleased to present Fusing Frames, a youth workshop programme. This Autumn young people living in Derby will be invited to take on their city, exploring what Derby City means to them and discover and design an imagined future.
Delivered in partnership with Derby QUAD and community film company FilmCity, the group will be encouraged to roam the city and uncover the hidden territories in order to create personal histories relating to place. Using mobile video, 3D modeling software, stop frame animation and GPS mapping, participants will create video on the streets of the city and generate a creative vision of a Derby of the future.
